Silysiamont S.p.A. is an Italian based company established in 2002 by the Japanese Company Fuji Silysia Chemical Ltd, specialized in the production of amorphous silica.
Fuji Silysia Chemical Ltd was established in 1965 in Japan where they operate three production sites and in year 2000 began an internalization process by opening a new manufacturing plant in USA.
Silysiamont S.p.A. produces micronized amorphous silica with varying degrees of pore volume and particle sizes under the brand name SYLYSIA®.
Silysiamont S.p.A. is active in the EMEA markets both directly and through a network of local distributors.
The manufacturing plant is located in Bussi (Pescara) and the Technical Service is in Gerenzano (Varese).

Fuji-Davison Chemical Ltd. established in Japan with 50% capital investment each by Davison Chemical (a division of W.R. Grace & Co.) and Yugen Kaisha Fuji.
1984
New micronized silica plant launched in Hyuga, Japan.
1993
Joint venture with W.R. Grace & Co. is rescinded and company renamed as Fuji Silysia Chemical Ltd.
1999
New subsidiary branch, Fuji Silysia Chemical S.A., opens in Switzerland.
2000
New manufacturing facility for micronized silica is open in Greenville, North Carolina (USA).
2000
Silysiamont S.p.A in Italy begins operation as 50% joint venture between Fuji Silysia Chemical Ltd. and Solvay, S.A.
2002
The Silysiamont S.p.A. new manufacturing plant for micronized silica completed in Bussi (Italy).
2020
New Silysiamont S.p.A. shareholder structure, now as joint venture 50% between Fuji Silysia Chemical Ltd and Radarchim SpA.
